Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated Sponsors Cincinnati’s Center for Closing the Health Gap Expo

Shared by our members at Coca-Cola Refreshments:

Rain and wind did not dampen the spirit of nearly 10,000 Cincinnati residents who turned out for the 17th annual Health Expo Saturday, April 28 in Washington Park.

Attendees visited more than 50 booths to learn about wellness and nutrition, and to participate in preventative health screenings.

Volunteers at the Coca-Cola Consolidated booth served samples of Zero-Calorie products and shared information about the industry’s Balance Calories initiative.

The health expo was spearheaded by the Cincinnati Center for Closing the Health Gap, and created as part of the organization’s campaign to end health inequities. The event is geared to serve minority populations who are most affected by health disparities across the city. Coca-Cola has been a long-time sponsor of the event.
