New Electronic Play System Coming to Toledo’s Downtown Waterfront

Thanks to a gift from Ohio’s non-alcoholic beverage industry, Toledo will soon have a state of the art electronic play system – the NEOS 360.

The NEOS 360 is an interactive play system offering exercise through eight different games at various difficulty levels. Many of these games are competitive and requite teamwork and cooperation.

A presentation ceremony was held on Friday, December 9 with Toledo Mayor Paula – Hicks Hudson, the Ohio Soft Drink Association, members from S.T.R.I.V.E Toledo, Inc. (STRIVE) and others in attendance.

Lima, OH presented with $100,000 United States Conference of Mayors grant to fight childhood obesity

Ohio Soft Drink Association Executive Director Kimberly McConville was on hand for the ceremony along with Mayor David Berger and others. The grant will aid in supporting the city’s “Cooking for Change” childhood obesity initiative.
